Dear Class,
As an end-of-semester reminder, I’ve included information and excerpts from the syllabus and the “Start Here” message button posted on this course's Canvas opening page.
To be clear and to make sure there are no misunderstandings....

NOTE: Concerning exceptions to the posted expectations for a Canvas course:
NWACC Department policy—whatever is “allowed for one student” should be “allowed for all students.” In other words, if an instructor allows a student to retake a quiz or turn in late work, the instructor should notify students in all sections of that course that they have the right to this same. Fair procedure is for all students to be allowed the same special allowances at all times.

- Submissions are due on the date posted on each assignment. Assignments, quizzes, and exams can't be made three days after a final deadline. Canvas will automatically score non-submitted work as "0" after the final due date.
- Extra credit work for missed assignments is not an option in this Canvas course.
- Extra credit work at the end of the semester to raise a grade is not possible.
- Canvas does not allow “Do-Overs” for exams or assignments.
