F2F Music Appreciation Students
Here are a few reminders about this Face to Face NWACC Music Appreciation class.
* Class starts promptly on time. Don't arrive late but if you do, a video may be in progress with lights dimmed so watch your step.
* The restrooms are downstairs. Use the restroom before class. Do not leave the room after class has started.
*Again: Do not leave class once class has started.
* Remember to put your cell phones away (not aside) when class begins.
* It’s OK to get up and stand at the back of the class if you start to doze during a video.
* During music videos I request that students listen to the music and refrain from taking notes.
*Everything you will be tested on is printed at the course outline at MilesFish.com or on Canvas.
* In class, sit in the first two rows.
* NWACC has this class listed on the schedule as a "Lecture Class" therefore it wil be comprimised primarily of "Lecture and Video."
* Grade are determined by Canvas Assignment/Quiz scores and attendance.
* SCHOOL CLOSURES /DUE DATES--IMPORTANT: If the school closes for weather or other reasons, the due date for assignments does not change. For example, if an assignment is due on March 16 and the school is closed March 12-19, the assignment is STILL DUE on March 16.
Always email me if you have questions concerning assignments and assignment due dates.

THE CHORAL JOURNAL (May, 2015)
Fish's article documents the discovery of approximately 800 Vivaldi manuscripts in a monastery near Turin, Italy in the late 1920s and sheds light on the obstacles that prevented Vivaldi’s music from being heard until the mid-1950s.
